|A Sonos account lets you add more speakers, get new features, and safely and securely integrate with your streaming apps. With Sonos version 9.0, it is now required to finish setting up your account.
Whether you’re setting up Sonos for the first time, or you’re adding a new player to your current system, you’ll need to create or sign in to a Sonos account using the Sonos app. This account allows you to register your products, receive updates, and provides a seamless integration with services like Spotify and Amazon Alexa.
“What information do I need to register my products?”
You’ll only need an email address that you have access to as you will be asked to verify your email. Avoid using non-personal emails when linking your account.
“What information do you gather when I register my products?”
“Why is it mandatory to create a Sonos account and register my system?”
